An Australian rustic charm in country Victoria

Earthy tones, a captivating selection of slow fashion, timeless apparel, footwear, accessories, homewares, organic skincare, gifts, and a welcoming smile from owner Lindy Allen-Smith is what you will be greeted with when you walk into 7TH POCKET in Yackandandah.

Converted from a local takeaway shop which was originally a Billiards room dating back to 1857, Lindy and her husband Andrew spent 16 months renovating, stripping it back to it’s original locally made red brick showcasing the authentic beauty of this grand building. The name, a combination of the shop location No. 7 and “Pocket” being a connection to the original Billiards room it once was.

As you enter, you’re graced with the aroma of beautiful essential oils and in the colder months, you’ll find the wood fireplace burning. The ambience is homely, and an immediate calmness takes over the senses.

Lindy explains that the boutique focuses on a diverse range of quality pieces and products that are all Australian designed and ethically made, sustainable Australian brands that offer customers conscious, authentic pieces that are made to last or have a purpose without impacting our environment. And that is why Plantacard was a perfect fit.
